Will you upgrade to Windows 7?
Microsoft has announced the release of Windows 7 on October 22. The release date is three months earlier than the original release date. Some computer manufacturers have already begun shipping their computers with the replacement to the much maligned Vista OS. Do you plan to upgrade to Windows 7 or continue using your current operating system? Let us know your thoughts. I would especially like to hear from those of you who are using Linux, UNIX, Ubuntu or Solaris.

I will not upgrade to Windows 7. Google is coming out with an OS in 2010 for free. I like free things, and hence I will install that on my wife's netbook and put LINUX on my PC (that I will buy someday).

I haven't made a decision yet. I plan to partition a MAC and am in the research stage. I've used UNIX, XP and Vista so far. Haven't tried LINUX yet, so for me the verdict is still out.
ReplyDeleteI will be upgrading to Windows 7 soon. My wife's new job is also running Windows 7 and would be beneficial for us to upgrade. I have used XP and Vista. I have not used LINUX,unix, ubuntu., or solaris
ReplyDeleteI have Vista on my laptop and Windows 2003 on my desktop. Perhaps I will purchase the Windows 7 upgrade for my desktop computer. That way I can keep current on both operating systems.
